This section is dedicated to explaining the tipsy Universe (which is very much like ours) that is Grim World (for lack of a better title. Think of it as a glossary for the comic

THE WHO
No, not the band, but an explanation of what creatures inhabit Grim World.

Humans: People just like you and me.

Sublimes:Human beings which have supernatural powers, either through genetics or being infected/cursed. Below is a list of different Sublime
-Fallen: Fallen Angels, abilities widely varied. ex: Adonis H. Morning, Elle Morning, Aloel Griffin
-Witches: AKA Wizards, Warlocks, they can use magic of any element. Example: Rue H. Nakashima
-Grim: young Grim reapers, bringers of death, they sever the ethereal soul from dying bodies. Example: Camron E. Reds
-Fenris: Werewolves, dangerous beings with heightened physical abilities. Example: Corrina Rice
-Haima: Vampires, they feed on human flesh (mostly blood) and never seem to age. Example: Jonithan Ivanovski
Kronos: Rulers of Time, these sublimes have the ability to travel through time at will, however these beings have their own society and heirarchy and only a few branches exist outside of it. Examples: Shaun McLeod, Frankie Gwaft
-Messiah: God-like beings, can bend reality at will. Example: Jesus of Nazareth, Humphrey J. Howard

Souls: Souls are the essence of humans, they are quite hard to explain, but you get the idea. There are a few kinds of souls, here is a list.
-Free Soul: A soul free of mortal bonds and inhibitions, they are playful, open and unashamed, like a small child with better grammar.
-Foresaken Soul: A soul chained down to life, even after death, also known as Ghosts, Phantoms, Polteirgiests ect. They are often stuck in life against their own will, due to 'unfinished business'
-Flawed Souls: Souls destined for hell :3 yep.

THE WHERE
Grim World is made out of planes of existence, here is an explanation of these planes.

Heaven: the plane where all good souls come to rest, also the home of god and the angels.

Dreamtime: the plane of dreams, it is where all concious minds experiance dreams and also where all free souls go after death before ascending to Heaven or falling to Hell. This place is also home to the legendary Wicked and Lovely

Median: The plane which is considered 'the middle' of all planes, it is where most of the story takes place, here one can find The Earth and all its inhabitants, as well as the Universe and deities such as The Lady Moon and The Great Mother.

Death: Otherwise known as The Plane Of The Dead this is where all Adult Grim Reapers reside and where all Forsaken Souls go after death.

Hell: Fire and Brimstone, this is where Satan and his band of fallen angels reside along with all the souls of horrible sinners. Donnie was born there, great place to grow up really...


THE WHEN
What year does the story take place? What are some important dates?

Chapter one takes place in early June of 2005.

Camron and Donnie were born in 1988

Donnie was created in 1956

The Great Northern Unity occured in 1946
